Evangelions are humanity's only hope in battling the Angels. Each EVA is piloted through an Entry Plug or the automated Dummy Plug. Protecting the EVA from physical attacks is an Absolute Terror (AT) Field, which can only be neutralized by an Angel or another EVA
EVAs are powered remotely through an umbilical cable attached to its back. Without the cable, they can use their internal batteries for 5 minutes (normal power) or 1 minute (full combat mode)
