Evangelion Unit-04 Production Model (EVA-04)

Although not seen anywhere in the TV series, this EVA is mentioned in Episode 17 as having disappeared along with NERV's Second US Division in Nevada. Reports say that it was scheduled to be modified with the experimental S2 engine designed in Germany. It is also reported that Unit 04 shares designs with Unit 03. |

EVA-Series Mass-Production Models (EVA-05 to EVA-13)
Height: Classified Weight: Classified First Appearance: Evangelion: Rebirth After careful studies of battles between the Evangelions and Angels, SEELE manufactures nine new Evangelion units from various locations around the world.
Each unit is similar in appearance and is controlled by a Dummy Plug, which eliminates the need for a pilot. New features include limited flight (with the use of retractable wings) and extremely rapid regeneration. |
